Pracajurá

This is Pracajurá, a small Amazonian riverine community. A picture freezes a moment in time, a moment that passes inevitably. But this is a redundant picture, even with you eyes outside the camera this scenery never seemed to move. The waters are calm, the boats barely shift. The birds already stopped singing and people are quietly home preparing dinner, talking and hoping for the generator to work so they can watch their favorite soup opera.
